Please include a detailed description of when the error occurs along with the actual verbiage of the error or a screen print of the error message.Please state the name and version number of the software and what operating system you are using (Windows XP, Mac OS X 10.5.2 etc.).
Can I replace the default WAV sounds files with my own WAV files?
No. Sorry, the software does not have that capability at this time.
Yes, there is a Mac version for download. Just go to the Free Trial page and choose the MAC version from the drop down list.
Why is there no visible beat indicator?
There is not a big beat indicator but there is a small beat indicator that you can see in the Time Signature/Accented beats display. If you watch you will see the beat move through the current measure being played. But, the metronome trainer was designed with the idea of keeping the musician's focus on the exercise and the technique to play the exercise. It seemed that a big visual beat indicator would be somewhat contradictory to that goal and would draw the musician's focus away from the mechanics of the exercise. That is why the Metronome Trainer was designed with large displays for quick glances and with many audible signals and timers so that the musician can focus on what is really important: feeling the beat and the technique required to play the exercise properly.
Because we believe that people practice in many ways and we want to accommodate our users as best we can when it is feasible. We are planning to incorporate an option to display a larger visual signal in a future revision and leave it up to the user to decide how they best want to practice, with or without a visual signal. We still stand behind our initial design and believe that it is best to not use a visual signal, but in the future we will be able to leave the decision up to you.
Why is there no tap tempo button on your application?
The interface is jam packed with features and space was at a premium so we had to make a sacrifice and the tap tempo button took a dive. But if you really want to impress your friends here is a nifty trick to find the tempo to any song:
If you have a watch or any time device that has a second hand you can count the total number of beats in a 10 sec span of the song and then multiply that number by 6. This will give you the tempo of any song.
We are planning to create a small separate application to enable you to tap a tempo and get the BPM value of a song. It will be available for free to registered Metronome Trainer customers.

What are the minimum system requirements for the Metronome Trainer?
Minimum System Requirements:
IBM Dual Core Compatible PC
2.4 GHz or Greater CPU

XP, VISTA and MAC
For windows, be aware that the Metronome Trainer has only been tested on XP and Vista. Although it might run on other versions of Windows OS it is only supported on authentic versions of Windows XP and VISTA OS.
(Win98, NT, Me, 2000 systems have not been tested )
